49,059 IEEE Organizationally Unique Identifiers Database
MAC Address (Media Access Control Address) is a unique 48-bit identifier assigned to every network device.
It looks like this: 3C:D9:2B:12:34:56
OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier) is the first 24 bits (first 3 bytes) of a MAC address,
assigned by IEEE to manufacturers. For example, in 3C:D9:2B:12:34:56,
the OUI is 3C:D9:2B.
How they're related: The OUI identifies the manufacturer (like Apple, Samsung, or Cisco), while the last 24 bits are assigned by the manufacturer to each specific device. This database lets you identify which company made any network device just by looking at its MAC address!
Enter a MAC address or OUI prefix (e.g., 3C:D9:2B or 3CD92B)
